Wherther or not Google values its own links?

Author: admin | Files under SEO tips

Matt Cutts in his newest video clip has introduced whether or not Google value own links for PageRank.  One user asked a question about the linkjuice and the PageRank. He wanted to know if the links like Google Bookmarks, Google profile get a linkjuice. The reason for asking this was because Google links never appear in Webmaster tools section.

Matt could have talked about each Website like Youtube, Google bookmarks etc. but he gave a general explanation on links from Google owned Websites. Especially he accentuated spammable results and if they thought that something is wrong they will use a nofollow attribute. He also said that he has seen some links from Google.

He also excludes that all Google Knol external links are used as nofollow and if they learn that they can trust one of the author they remove nofollow atribute. He said that “sometimes they try do flow a PageRank but they try to be careful because of people who try to abuse it”. In conclusion Google do flow a PageRank or Linkjuice only if they can trust you but mostly they use a nofollow atribute.

You can watch the video below if you want to hear it directly from Matt Cutts. This video isn’t long so it will not take a long time to watch it. I believe that Google will never answer all the questions on subject like this or any similar topic but the answer may be relatively similar.
