Browsing plugins’ archive I have found a lot of useful plugins for WordPress blogs. One of the plugin was Robots-Meta plugin. I have been looking for a plugin to add nofollow tags for category (to make categories nofollow) listing so this plugin is what I needed. I am showing category listing on all my single posts and pages so this plugin is very useful to avoid “leaking” quite a bit of Page Rank towards these pages because I want my single post to rank. All you need to do is enable these two options:
Nofollow category listings on pages
Nofollow category listings on single posts
There are many more options you can choose it is only up to you. You can prevent indexing search result pages, all admin pages, login and register pages, subpages of the home page, author archives, date-based archives, category archives, tag archives and so on. If you have a WordPress blog just grab this Robots-Meta plugin. With this plugin you can make/add nofollow tags to RSS feeds and to WordPress.org.
