Paid Posts ruin Google rankings

Author: admin | Files under SEO tips

Google rankingsYou may be interested in what I am talking about so I want to say that participation in paid programs like PayPerPost or Smorty or any other where you make money blogging is a reason you lose your rankings on Google.

You can do everything to increase page rank but you do not need to forget that it’s necessary to do everything to avoid losing page rank. I talk about rel=”nofollow” tags so the first step is to insert “nofollow” attribute in html code. But talking about paid posts there is a problem about it. Everything is fine with usual posts you write but if you write articles and get paid you are not allowed to use a rel=”nofollow”. So what to do to stop losing your rankings?

There are two tips you can try.

1. Just do not use tags, remove all sponsored post tags on each of your posts. Search engines can follow these tags to determine if you are being paid for posts.

2. Remove any other tags like “hire me” and “review me”. Any general affiliate banners are fine to keep.

This should not reduce your rankings but the problem exists because you cannot use nofollow.

    Thanks for the tips!
I’ve added your link in the other 3 blogs of mine. Could you link me back in return? Thanks!
