How to bypass duplicate content and canonical URL problems

Author: admin | Files under SEO tips

Every blogger want to know more about things that Google doesn’t like. If you know that you will be able to rank very high. That’s why Google has many secrets however there are many uncovered tips and tricks that may help you optimizing a blog. Would you be interested in reading the article on the newspaper and reading similar article on the same newspaper but the next day? I don’t think so. Google doesn’t like it too.

That’s why we have to avoid using duplicate content. Talking about duplicate content I said that search engines don’t like it but I didn’t say that they hate it. There is a difference. Google will choose the oldest article on the Internet. If search engines run into large amount of duplicate content on your blog they will stop indexing your blog or indexing may be very slow.  We don’t want this.

I may give you an advise what to do to make your blog Google friendly. So if you have duplicate content you need to exclude it from indexing using robots.txt. This is the only method to keep or get a good position on Google. Of course you don’t need to exclude all your posts.

Also you don’t need to forget canonical issues. I can say that it is the type of URL that has to be always the same. So if you want to know more about tips and tricks read the article about Duplicate content and canonical issues.
