There are so many means to optimize a blog for search engines. Some of them are very easy but most of them requires hard work. We should do everything to get better rankings and should not forget even simple steps.
I can say that Blog title is not only for Search Engine Optimization. It also can bring you more visitors to your blog. When I used my old blog theme I decided to make a logo and place it at the top of my blog. I modified header.php file but after that I still could see logo and Blog title at the same time. So I removed Blog title and later I understood that it was a big mistake.
Later I have noticed that o lost visitors from search engines like Google, Yahoo, Msn, Ask and many more. With no doubt I decided to use Blog title which can be changed under (Wordpress) Options/General Options. That was a first step. The second step was to configure All in one SEO plugin. I was concerned on Home Title, Home Description, Home Keywords. After all I was sure that all these steps were very important. One of the most common mistake is to place your business name or website name or product name in every title of every page. My blog was optimized so visitors noticed my blog on search engines.
