If you blog or do any other work and want to get maximum it’s necessary to use useful tools. I will tell you what tools every blogger should use to get maximum from the blog. All these plugins will help you manage your blog and getting better rank or traffic.
1. WordPress database backup. This is very useful plugin. I use it and want to suggest it. You can automatically backup your WordPress database. Just insert your email and chose how often you want to get your database copy. WordPress database backup plugin creates backups of your core WordPress tables as well as other tables of your choice in the same database.
2. Wordpress related posts. The plugin i have been looking for. WordPress Related Posts Plugin will generate a related posts via WordPress tags, and add the related posts to feed. At the end of every post you will see related post links. You can choose how many related links you want to see. WordPress 2.3 related links plugin is only available from WordPress 2.3
3. WordPress.com stats. Additional plugin to get information about your visitors. Wordpress.com stats collects information about your page views, which posts and pages are the most popular, where your traffic is coming from, and what people click on when they leave. It’ll also add a link to your dashboard which allows you to see all your stats on a single page. All you will need is to put in your API Key and the rest is automatic.
4. Sociable. I believe this plugin will generate traffic because Sociable is a plugin which adds social media buttons to your posts, and does so easily, and beautifully. Easy to choose any number of networks like Digg, Technoratti from a huge list.
5. WP-PageNavi. Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress blog. You can see WP-PageNavi plugin at the bottom of your blog. Important thing is that if you use older WP version than 2.5 you will not be able to use it. Created for WP 2.5 and above.
6. Akismet. Since I have started blogging i noticed that someone is spamming me very often. So I decided to use Akismet to block spammers. You will never have to worry about spam again. Here you will need a WordPress.com API key to use it. I remember I have been cleaning spam manually so often and Akismet do it automatically. Every blogger need to have anti-spam plugin.
There are more plugins I use and I will tell about rest of them later. There are even more useful and great plugins for bloggers that I do not know. A blog without plugins looks like worthless blog. All these plugins help me a lot.
