There is a real and well-tried method to increase Alexa rank. Internet is full of articles how to increase the rank but not all of them are valuable. I will try to explain what you need to do to get real results. I agree that all well known ways to do that may help including these 4 ways to generate traffic to your blog, but it might not be a significant effect.
I will tell you two methods that must be done do get a result. There is nothing special here and everything is very simple. First, you need to download the Alexa Toolbar from alexa.com Website. You need it because it will help to calculate your own visits to your blog/Website. This is a simple step and will take a minute only. After the installation you will see a rank of every Website you visit. A rank will be visible in the status bar.
Another thing you need to do is visit alexa.com Website, enter any Website in the empty field, lets say, digit-8.com and click Lookup Sites. Then you need to click on Reviews tab. And the main point is to get a positive review and 5 stars only. To get a review you need to write a positive review for someone else and give five stars for someone’s blog or Website. After writing a review contact the owner of a blog and ask him to do the same. It is simple and doesn’t take long.
Very often advertisers care about the Alexa rank and not page rank because they need real visits to their Website or blog so I want to ensure that if you follow these methods you will increase Alexa rank. Guaranteed.

There is a much easier way than that. Just post comments on other blogs. Just choose blogs that are well indexed in Google (blogs that have been around for a few years are best) and you now have an inbound link to your own blog. Another way is to generate a “ping back”. Simply find blogs that you like that allow “ping backs” (just taking a look at there comments will verify that for you). Write a blog post on your own blog about that one blog post on another blog and link to that blog post. You will have generated a “ping back” for your own blog. It is so simple…..a caveman can do it!!

May i know how you contact with the website owner to ask him to review on our site in alexa too? If the site owner reluctant to do so, what can we do? Thanks for sharing! I would like to have a try!
